5. Who installs the system - and is my car insured?

All installations are carried out by our own fully trained, in-house technicians. We never subcontract. Your vehicle is fully insured while it’s in our care and treated with the same attention we’d expect for our own cars.

6. Can you come to me, or do I need to visit you?

Both options are available. We can install it at your home, or you’re welcome to visit us at our premises.
Our mobile service covers a wide area including London and home counties up to Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge, Southampton, Bristol and surrounding regions - just get in touch and we’ll confirm availability.

7. Do I need a Ghost immobiliser for my insurance?

Not necessarily. In our experience, insurers often use "Ghost" informally to refer to an additional engine-start immobiliser, rather than requiring that specific brand.

What matters is the security requirement they've specified - which may include a recognised Thatcham-certified system such as S5, particularly on higher-value vehicles.

Meta Trak S5 Deadlock and Deadlock PRO carry recognised Thatcham certification and are insurance-approved solutions designed to meet these requirements.
